What is CCAI?
The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that strives to be an objective, educational resource for information critical to advancing the efforts of federal policymakers on behalf of children in need of homes. Our mission is to raise awareness of the millions of children around the world in need of safe, loving and permanent families and to eliminate the barriers that hinder children from realizing their basic right to a family.  We achieve this mission through five core programs, all designed to provide an up close and personal experience with issues that affect orphans and foster youth.

Is your Member speaking at an event on adoption, foster care or orphans and would like help in locating relevant statistics and examples?

Would you like to know what legislation affecting adoption, foster care and orphan issues has been introduced in this and/or a previous Congress?

Does your Member want to become more actively involved with the adoption and foster care community.

Would you like to encourage additional Members of Congress to co-sponsor your Member’s legislation related to adoption or foster care?
